It was the eve.. and the whole of AIMST were getting ready for the countdown.. there were cultural shows, Mr & Ms merdeka contest, march past by all the various faculty, merdeka convoys, cake cutting, countdown to the 31st of August, fireworks, bazaar Ramadan, game stations, and last but not least the street party held on that day.
Aimst students definitely have hidden talent in them. Many of them were fantastic performers, wonderful dancers, amazing singers and great models wannabe..the whole crowd definitely would have enjoyed the various multi cultural performances...My friends and I from Batch 16 and 15 had to represent the faculty of medicine in the march past, we were joined by our lecturers and staffs of FOM as well.
The bazaar Ramadan was another hit.. food sales were going on from the evening till midnight..Aimsters proved not only to be excellent students and performers..many were great businessman as well..
The night went well and the skies were lit up with fireworks as the clock strikes 12am..negaraku was sung and the merdeka cheers were heard everywhere..Just past midnight, songs had started blasting and the students headed to the street strut their stuff..the music beat and the wonderful atmosphere surely had the night going..
