Enthiran =)

ENTHIRAN

Just like many others, my friends and i were all so excited about hitting the cinema to watch our superstar on the big screen..the much awaited movie of the year as told by many had very good responses from the public.. ( this is based on the many Facebook comments and posts)

to me..all i wanted was to go out and have fun with my friends..and Enthiran became the excuse..hehe..we started the journey..by actually running to catch the bus which was heading to town.. (and i thought these things only happen in movies)..then the 6 of us..karthi, siva, kogi, alagi, and kaushi, stuffed ourselves with Chinese food for lunch..and not forgetting our popcorns and soft drinks..

On my opinion, Enthiran seems to be something very new to the Tamil Cinema Industry..hats off to the whole Enthiran crew ( right from the directors to the tea boy)..to those who haven't watched Enthiran yet..its about time you hit the big screens,
this movie is worth watching!

rajini is macho as ever..and aish is stunning..

Merdeka Celebration

It was the eve.. and the whole of AIMST were getting ready for the countdown.. there were cultural shows, Mr & Ms merdeka contest, march past by all the various faculty, merdeka convoys, cake cutting, countdown  to the 31st of August, fireworks, bazaar Ramadan, game stations, and last but not least the street party held on that day.

Aimst students definitely have hidden talent in them. Many of them were fantastic performers, wonderful dancers, amazing singers and great models wannabe..the whole crowd definitely would have enjoyed the various multi cultural performances...My friends and I from Batch 16 and 15 had to represent the faculty of medicine in the march past, we were joined by our lecturers and staffs of FOM as well.

The bazaar Ramadan was another hit.. food sales were going on from the evening till midnight..Aimsters proved not only to be excellent students and performers..many were great businessman as well..

The night went well and the skies were lit up with fireworks as the clock strikes 12am..negaraku was sung and the merdeka cheers were heard everywhere..Just past midnight, songs had started blasting and the students headed to the street strut their stuff..the music beat and the wonderful atmosphere surely had the night going..

It was definitely a memorable merdeka countdown..

Freshies Week!!

One whole week of briefing and introduction lectures was awesome..we got the chance
to get to know the respective lecturers for each subjects..and also bond with the rest of the 200 students. Although we come from 3 different batches in the Foundation in Science 09/10 group,we now unite as one..we are after all Batch 16 AIMST MBBS students..

All of us are definitely eager to start classes and begin our journey as a medico.
I am sure these coming 5 years will teach us many new things and helps us gain new experiences and memories. New friendship, hardships and joy will be picked up all along the way.

We had our faculty orientation organised by our seniors from Batch 8, 12, 13 and 15.
Although it was only for a short period of time, I would say, all of us in Batch 16 had tonnes of fun.
This gave us the oppurtunity to get to know each other and simply work as a team. I would like to thank the seniors for coming up with interesting stations in such a short period of time.It was a job well done..

Here are some of the glimpses of how the orientation week was..
